These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the #ThisIsMyCity – Cedar Grove Community Day RSVP website and SMS messaging program (the "Service"), operated by Apostolic Revival Center ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service or opting in to receive text messages, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
The Service allows you to RSVP for Cedar Grove Community Day at AB Palmer Park ball field and receive event-related text messages such as reminders, countdowns, schedule updates, weather notices, and thank-you messages.
2. SMS Program Terms
By submitting your mobile number through our RSVP form, you expressly consent to receive text messages from #ThisIsMyCity at the number provided, including messages sent using automated technology.
- Program name: #ThisIsMyCity Community Day
- Message frequency: Varies. You may receive up to several messages per week in the days leading up to and during the event.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details.
- Supported carriers: Major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, US Cellular, MetroPCS, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Help: Reply HELP to any message or email apostolicrevivalcenterla@gmail.com.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to RSVP and opt in to the SMS program. You must be the account holder or have authorization to use the phone number you provide.
4. Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when RSVP'ing and to update your information as needed. Do not submit phone numbers you do not own or are not authorized to enroll.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent RSVPs
- Harass, threaten, or abuse volunteers, administrators, or other attendees
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its network
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with any third party for marketing purposes.
7. Event Attendance
RSVP does not guarantee any particular seating, food quantity, raffle entry, or parking. The event is free and open to the community. We reserve the right to modify the event schedule, activities, or location due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered on time or at all, as delivery depends on wireless carriers and other factors outside our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apostolic Revival Center and its volunteers, officers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data or messaging charges, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
